DLF Promenade enthralls patrons with glittering Christmas carnival

DLF Promenade, Vasant Kunj, brought alive the spirit of Christmas by organising a series of exciting events. The biggest attraction was a 10-feet Christmas tree, with teddy bears in crimson and red colours. The tree was set up in the mall’s kid’s zone and was a visual delight for both children and their parents. Two more trees were put up at the entrance and the atrium, which added to the festive look.

Kiddyland at DLF Promenade was transformed into a home for Santa and his Elves. Children had a blast sitting with Santa on his sledge, eating candies and candy floss, listening to him playing the guitar and violin, meeting Rudolph the reindeer and watching wide-eyed elves making toys at Santa’s workshop. To add to the excitement, Santa gave away teddies from the tree to all the children, who were at their best behaviour the entire year, on December 25 between 11 am to 4 pm.

The fun did not end there. DLF Promenade had three lady Santas called Santarinas, who welcomes visitors to the mall between December 15 and 16. The Santarinas interacted with children, got pictures clicked with them and distributed surprise gifts such as cash vouchers, Zangoora tickets and personalised gifts from various brands, much to the delight of patrons. Special Santa couches were kept at The Hub and patrons had a ball getting their pictures clicked sitting on the couch.

With flash mobs grabbing the imagination of the country these days, DLF Promenade added to the thrill by organising flash mobs during the Christmas weekend and the weekend prior to that. A flash mob is a group of people who gather to spontaneously perform a dance number, taking onlookers by surprise. The performance lasts for a few minutes. Patrons thoroughly enjoyed the surprise acts.

Leaving no stone unturned to make Christmas special for patrons, DLF Promenade also lined up some amazing offers. For bike fanatics, there was an irresistible offer of shopping between Rs 5,000 and Rs 15,000 and owning a Harley Davidson following a lucky draw on December 25.

The Christmas carnival was a hit and once again DLF Promenade lived up to its reputation of providing 360 degrees entertainment.
